How to use Typora

Create a file and start writing Markdown straight away. For more information on Markdown syntax, see other articles by the blogger.

Images

Command + V to copy a web image or clipboard image into a document.

Drag a local image into the document.

Typora automatically inserts the image statements that match the Markdown syntax for you.

[TOC] Generate Table of Contents

Emoji Emoji Support: Type emoji in the form of :emoji and the software will automatically give you a graphical hint.

Typewriter Mode and Focus Mode

View - Typewriter Mode/Focus Mode On or off:

Typewriter mode: makes the line you are editing always in the center of the screen.

Focus Mode: makes the line you are editing retain its color, while the other lines are grayed out.

My experience with Typora

Typora Themes

Themes can be set in the Appearance section of Settings. Bloggers really like Essay, Latex, Orangeheart, and Sneh, four themes that combine strict formatting with good looks.

Typora's graphic bed service

The image bed upload service software I use is uPic, which works out of the box and has an APP for iOS.
